Michael P. Corry, Sr.

Michael P. Corry, Sr. (born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on December 16, 1964) received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Louisiana State University in 1988, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. In 1991, Mr. Corry received a Juris Doctorate degree from Tulane Law School, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi.

Mr. Corry began his legal career in Lafayette, Louisiana in 1991. He is active in many community activities which include coaching little league sports. Mr. Corry is a member of the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State Bar Associations, the Supreme Court of the United States Bar, the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Corry is an Assistant City Parish attorney for the Lafayette Consolidated Government. He is a member of the John M. Duhe, Jr., American Inn of Court. He has received an AV Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and adherence to professional standards of ethics.

Mr. Corry is licensed to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts. Mr. Corry is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. His practice focuses on the defense of claims involving litigation. His primary fields of practice include insurance disputes, general liability, automobile/trucking liability, products liability, premises liability, construction disputes, and governmental civil service disputes.
