Christopher L. Zaunbrecher
Christopher L. Zaunbrecher obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1971, where he was President of the Phi Gamma Delta chapter. He graduated from Louisiana State University Law Center in 1973, after serving as secretary of the Moot Court Board. Mr. Zaunbrecher received a commission as a Judge Advocate (JAG) officer in the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of Captain.
Mr. Zaunbrecher was senior labor and litigation counsel for a major publicly held corporation in both Lafayette, Louisiana and Chicago, Illinois. He entered the firm in 1985.
Mr. Zaunbrecher’s practice is primarily concentrated in the areas of labor and employment law, insurance defense, admiralty and maritime defense, workers’ compensation, including the Longshore and Harborworkers’ Compensation Act, commercial litigation, franchising, and corporate law.
He is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Lafayette Parish, Louisiana State and American Bar Associations, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
