Donovan D. Beckwith

Donovan D. Beckwith obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Administration from Louisiana State University in 2017. Following his undergraduate, he interned for a small boutique sports and entertainment company in Washington D.C. Donovan attended Southern University Law Center, where he worked as a student attorney for the Southern University Law Clinic. Along with managing the front, he assisted with the Elder Law Clinic by writing affidavits and testaments, and managing case files. He also assisted with all the practice areas of the clinic by doing client outreach and management. Donovan received CALI awards for the “highest grade” in Advanced Legal Writing, and Business Entities. He graduated from Southern in 2021 in the Top 50% of his graduating class.

Donovan is originally from Prairieville, Louisiana, but attended high school in Lafayette, Louisiana at St. Thomas More Catholic High School. He is licensed to practice before all Louisiana State Courts, and is a member for Louisiana and Lafayette Bar Association.

Donovan’s practice includes defense of commercial and general liability, automobile liability, civil litigation, and personal injury litigation.
