Jason R. Garrot
Jason R. Garrot obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University in 1998. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Garrot worked as an insurance adjuster before entering law school in 2001. In 2004, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans. After graduating from law school, Mr. Garrot clerked for 15th Judicial District Court Judge J. Byron Hebert.
Mr. Garrot is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts. His professional memberships include the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State Bar Associations as well as the Lafayette Young Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the John M. Duhe’, Jr., American Inn of Court. Mr. Garrot is from Abbeville, Louisiana and returned to Lafayette after law school where he has remained his entire legal career. He is actively involved in the Lafayette community as a member of the Mardi Gras Krewe of Bonaparte and serves the needs of the community as a Knight of Columbus.
Mr. Garrot’s practice includes the defense of commercial and general liability, insurance disputes, workers compensation, contract disputes, automobile liability, premises liability, products liability, as well as general civil litigation.
